Connecting to the EIMS Desktop from a Windows PC
Install the Client Application
You will need to download and install the Remote Desktop app. Make sure you do this either on your EIMS Laptop or on your own personal computer. DO NOT try to install the Remote Desktop application inside the Citrix environment.

Connect to Resources
Once you downloaded and installed the app, you need to Open the Remote Desktop app
Once the app loads, in the main page click ‘Subscribe’
You will then be prompted to sign in. In the ‘Sign In’ screen enter your EIMS email address and click Next. When notified for a password type in your EIMS Domain Password. This is the password you use to login to the Citrix environment
Once you type in your password you will be notified that you need to authenticate in order to sign in. This will be either in the method of a text message being sent to your mobile phone or the Authenticator app notifications appearing on your mobile device.
Once you have authenticated, you will be presented with the EIMS Desktop which you have access to:
Connect to Desktop
Double-click on ‘EIMS Desktop’ to access the full desktop. You will need to enter the password for your user account again the first time you connect. You can tick ‘Remember me’ to prevent the prompt in future.
You will now be logged in to the full desktop.
